Hong Kong

In transit right now, waiting for the shops to open so that I can grab a bite to eat.

The flight was good. I didn’t get any solid sleep, but at least a few naps are a better than nothing. We landed in a fog. I initially thought were were still pretty high up as I couldn’t see anything from the windows, but the rumble of the cabin when we touched down made it evidently clear that we weren’t as high as I thought.

It still amazes me sometimes how technology gives us extra senses and abilities, such as being able to land a plane safely in a dense fog.

Now as activity in the airport starts to pick up, people bustling around, shuttle carts buzzing about (complete with a quaint rapid beeping exactly like the cars in the Jetsons), it’s time for me to hunt for some food. This traveller is hungry.
